ALREWAS ARTS FESTIVAL WINS ARTS COUNCIL GRANT FOR '101 ODD FELLOWS' PROJECT


101OF1We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant by The Arts Council to undertake our exciting '101 Oddfellows' Art Project to coincide with the year's festival. This is an exciting and ambitious project in collaboration with the Village Hall. It's very very exciting! Villages have nowreceived a flyer through their letter boxes with details on how to apply for their face to be part of the project. Spare copies of the leafelt at Pauls Newsagents or from 9.Post Office Road - 01283 790054 or jot down: Name, Date of Birth, contact details, Gender, email address if you have one. Every village resident can apply, no matter how long you have lived in Alrewas. If we have more than 1 applications for any particular year the face for that year will be randomly selected. Closing date is Sunday 3rd June.

Village Hall restoration donations from villagers reaches £8,000

We are delighted to announce that your generosity has raised almost £8,000 towards the hall renovation fund. We would like to thank those of you who have donated to this cause. Don't worry if you can't find your donation pack as you can click here to download a new donation card.

Completed cards should be returned to Dabid Butcher at 118 Main Street (next to the Geroge & Dragon) and please don't forget to sign up for Gift Aid as this brings us addition funds.
