Alrewas, A Good Billet
"Alrewas, A Good Billet" is the second of the films made specially for the Alrewas Arts Festival. It follows on the heels of the very successful "A Cut Through Alrewas"
The film looks at the village during World War two through the eyes of locals who were here during that period. There are funny stories, sad tales and lots of insight into what Alrewas was like in the 1940's and the film comprises 'talking heads' and dramatic reconstructions of some of the events.
Filming began some months ago and to date we have over twelve hours of material for this 45 minute documentary.
