The Arts Festival is free! Just like AAF 2006 this years festival will be free. We think that the festival should be inclusive of all of the community and that making the events free encourages this. This decision seemed to surprise and please a lot of people. It certainly is a wonderful event and helped bring many groups within the village together and encourage individuals to get involved. The last festival cost around £12,000, We were lucky enough to receive some grants for events last year and have already had support from local businesses and organisation this year. Local fundraising is vitally important too. Please come along and support our events.
Alrewas
Arts Festival is supported by Alrewas with Streethay Parish Council,
Alrewas Civic Society, Shakespeare in the Park, Lichfield District
Council, Staffs County Council, Plater Chemicals, Peter Coates the
Butcher, and many artists and villagers who donate their time and
