to showcase your writing in the 2008 Alrewas Arts Festival Anthology.
Entries from people of all ages welcome.

Whether
you have been writing for years, or are new to the game why not share your
talent? It’s a chance to show others what you can do, contribute to a
lasting memory of the village and the festival and encourage other people
to read, write and ‘have a go’.
What’s it all about?

is a new web service designed to link together people who love books and
make publishing books easy, free and fun. They
are supporting our Festival by
giving us this exciting opportunity to get our words online and in print!
So, Alrewas Arts Festival and CompletelyNovel
are inviting you to submit short stories or poems to feature in a 2008
Alrewas Arts Festival Anthology. The book will be available for everyone
to read online free by visiting CompletelyNovel.com
or if you would like paperback copies you can order these from the box
office.
The
anthology will cost about £4.00 (to be confirmed) and will be available
for anyone to buy through the box office whether you submit at piece or
not. It will be a lovely record of the Festival.
As
well as accepting submissions in advance of the festival, we will also be
including pieces created during Festival week itself via the box office in
the Methodist hall. These will be uploaded to the website as the week
progresses. Mixing the
spontaneous with the pre-prepared will be exciting and it should be a real
literary feast!
What to do next?
THE
THEME: All entries should be based (however loosely) on the theme of, ‘In and Out of Love’. Any
genre, be it comedy, romance, fantasy or horror.
WORD
LIMIT: 6 to 1500 words!
