Sport Question 3

This should have referred to a snooker player, not a darts player – answer Alan McManus, BUT in fairness to everyone we have declared this question Null and Void

Question 4

This should have referred to 49 bouts and 49 victories – answer Rocky Marciano, BUT again to be fair to all, this is question has been declared null and void

Entertainment

 Doug Sandom was the original drummer with The Who when they were The Detours but when he left and they changed their name to The Who Keith Moon took over, so he was actually the original drummer of THE WHO

Arts and Books Question 1

 Morse’s sidekick was referred to and known as Robbie.  Those stating ROBERT have been awarded half a point

Answer given as “Newgate” rather than “Newgate Prison” has been awarded half a point – hard, we know, but consistent and fair

There may be a correction in the marking on your entry. Our original answer to this question was “Orpah” which is correct according to at least one source on the Internet but further research on the net overwhelmingly gave “Ruth”.

Some sources quote 9 crusades in all, but most sources quote 8 – so eight is what we have gone with

Scampi is the most well-known name, however, langoustine has been awarded half a point

Bummalo is the correct answer, but as this is more generally a lizard fish, this answer is awarded half a point

  The answer we were looking for is SIRIUS.  Half a point has been awarded to Dog Star, Aschere or Canicula.
